cooking was a success today.

the dish was spicy shrimp aglio olio.

our second recipe after the standard tomato-based spaghetti.

the end result was good.

though it looked abit like hokkien mee.

coz of the colour and the shrimps on it.

but anyway, the shrimps were yummy!

with a hint of lemon and loads of chili flakes and garlic mixed in.

YUM.

but i still have no idea why my face broke out in allergic reaction 2 hours after the lunch.

hmm.

but i still loved the pasta =)

am getting a tad desperate to get my books for econs.

dont wanna resort to buying new books.

which can be a little steep in price =S

thank goodness i only have to get 3 books this sem.

but that's more than enough already.

if it's 5 books every sem,

and new books coz about $40 each at least,

every sem i'll have to spend $200 on books,

and over 8 semesters,

it'll be a grand total of $1600 spent on books.

i can use that money to get a spot on a tour group to taiwan again.
